Special time off

Aimee will be traveling from Thursday, March 6, to Tuesday, March 18 to meet her granddaughter! Community Acupuncture will return to regular hours on Wednesday, March 19. Online scheduling reflects these dates.

Group classes will go as scheduled and individual practitioners will still be available. This is a good opportunity to try something new! Consider these:

Sound Immersion: Experience the healing and restorative benefits of movement, rhythm, sound, and vibration. Bring a mat, blanket, pillow, and anything else you need to be comfortable. Friday, March 7, 7-8pm and Sunday, March 16, 2-3pm | REGISTER HERE

Yin Yoga: Yin works to provide flexibility within the connective tissues through passive stretches held for several minutes at a time. All-levels class. Tuesday, March 11, 2-3pm and Tuesday, March 18, 5:30-6:45pm. REGISTER HERE

Restorative Yoga: The essential antidote for our fast-paced, stressed-out lives. Fully supported postures with breath work and guided relaxation. No experience required; all props are provided. Just come as you are and enjoy this deeply nourishing practice. Thursday, March 13, 6-7pm and Sunday, March 30, 2-3:15pm. REGISTER HERE

Dr. John Hauser is taking time off from Community Acupuncture but is still available for scheduled one-on-one treatment room acupuncture, herbal consultations, and for naturopathic and homeopathic consultations. To schedule with him, please email him directly at jhausernd@yahoo.com or call/text him at 651-735-1610.

If you’re a new patient, please fill out our Patient Intake Form and bring it with you. Also, please check out our Frequently Asked Questions page. Please save your confirmation and reminder emails. If you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment, it is done through either of these emails. If you do need to change or cancel an appointment, please do it promptly in case another patient needs that spot.

For those who come in regularly together with a partner or family member, choose “initial visit” to hold a little longer time and let Aimee know the name of the other person in Notes.

Thank you for your continued support! If you have general questions, please email hello@healingwithinacupuncture.com. Please email Aimee Van Ostrand, L.Ac. at aimee@healingwithinacupuncture.com with any issues regarding health or treatment that you wish to remain private.

Mask protocols

Wearing a mask during your community acupuncture treatment remains optional. To protect those with compromised immune systems or complex health issues, Aimee will continue to wear a mask during your treatment.

Compared to group classes, Community Acupuncture sees more people with significant health issues, like those in cancer treatment, cancer survivors, MS, Parkinson’s or post-stroke recovery. We also see many living with PTSD, OCD and severe anxiety. For their comfort and safety, community acupuncture has continued to support the use of masks.
